In today’s day and age, it would be good if ticketing companies incorporated contact tracing into their apps.
As more ticketing and access control is done solely via app/electronically, and since events tend to be spreading events, it’s a no-brainer. Ticketing providers, like Ticketmaster, should incorporate the Apple/Google API for contact tracing, which would help to ensure privacy, and the local authorities, to implement this.
It’s in the best interests of the local authorities as well, again, since events can be spreader events. And this goes for smaller gatherings as well, so not just Ticketmaster, but Eventbrite, AEG/AXS, etc. as well.
