I read this article and I wonder, “How stupid can you be?” The Bar Association is the governing body of law, and grants the “license” to practice. And here it is admitting to mistakes that have cost people money, and possibly their livelihood.
If it were me, I’d file charges against the California Bar Association. They had years of complaints and didn’t do anything. This could have been prevented if they would have just done their jobs. What they did is actionable, and as lawyers not only do they know this, but they have also admitted to the wrongdoing.
I’m not a lawyer, but to me this sounds like an open-and-shut case, and the California Bar is responsible for letting this happen!!!
